What is Jackpot Daydream?
Jackpot Daydream is a free, interactive planning tool for exploring what life would actually look like after winning the lottery. It walks you through nine steps — from claiming your prize and calculating taxes to building an investment strategy and mapping out a monthly budget — using real numbers based on your jackpot amount and home state.
It's built for the fantasy. But it's grounded in reality: real federal and state tax rates, real lump sum calculations, real investment strategies. The goal is to turn a vague daydream into something you can actually think through.
Who built it?
Jackpot Daydream is an independent project built by a small team of developers and designers who wanted a better answer to the question everyone asks when the jackpot gets big: “What would you actually do?”
The tool is completely free to use. No account required. Nothing you enter is ever sent to a server — all calculations happen in your browser.
